Day 01 :

Panchkula → Jispa

The journey began from Panchkula, with the convoy of Jimnys driving through the scenic mountain roads of Himachal Pradesh, gradually gaining altitude and halting at Jispa for the night.

Day 02 :

Jispa → Shinkula → Gonbo Rangjon → Padum

From Jispa, the convoy crossed the adventurous Shinkula Pass and witnessed the breathtaking Gonbo Rangjon peak, before continuing through the Zanskar valley and reaching Padum.

Day 03 :

Padum → Leh

The team drove through rugged terrains and remote stretches, covering long distances across Zanskar before finally arriving in Leh, where they acclimatized to the high-altitude environment.

Day 04 :

Leh → Hanle

The convoy left Leh and headed towards the remote village of Hanle, famous for its observatory and starry skies, offering a rare glimpse into Ladakh’s untouched beauty.

Day 05 :

Hanle → Umling-La (Summit at 19,024 ft) → Leh

This was the most awaited day of the expedition. On September 22, 2023, at 4:30 PM, the convoy successfully summited Umling-La (19,024 ft), creating history as the first-ever Jimny convoy to achieve this feat. After the summit, the team drove back to Leh for an overnight stay.

Day 06 :

Leh → Jispa

Retracing their route, the convoy journeyed back from Leh to Jispa, enjoying the stunning landscapes along the way.

Day 07 :

Jispa → Panchkula

On the final day, the team drove back to Panchkula, marking the conclusion of the Top of the World Expedition after covering a total of 1,392.83 kilometers.
