Day 01 :

Gurgaon to Narkanda

The convoy began its journey early in the morning from Gurgaon, marking the start of an adventurous drive towards the Himalayas. Passing through scenic highways and winding mountain roads, the group reached Narkanda by evening, where they rested and prepared for the challenging days ahead.

Day 02 :

Narkanda to Kalpa

Driving deeper into Himachal Pradesh, the convoy experienced dramatic shifts in landscape as the lush greenery gave way to rocky terrains. The day’s highlight was the stunning views of the Kinnaur Kailash range, with the group halting at Kalpa for the night.

Day 03 :

Kalpa to Kaza (via Nako & Tabo)

A long and adventurous day as the convoy moved through high mountain passes and narrow valley roads. Stops were made at Nako Lake and the ancient Tabo Monastery before reaching Kaza, the heart of Spiti, where the group camped for the night under the starry sky.

Day 04 :

Kaza to Chicham Bridge (via Hikkim & Langza)

The highlight of the expedition – the convoy visited Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, and Langza, known for its iconic Buddha statue. By afternoon, the group reached the legendary Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest suspension bridge at 13,244 ft, crossing it together at 4:05 PM – a record etched in history.

Day 05 :

Kaza to Manali (via Kunzum La & Atal Tunnel)

The final stretch of the expedition saw the convoy crossing Kunzum La, one of the highest motorable passes, before descending towards Manali through the Atal Tunnel. The group concluded the historic journey with celebrations in Manali, marking the successful completion of “The Spiti Expedition.”
